About TikGo

Launched in 2024, TikGo was created to make saving public social media content fast, reliable, and transparent on any device. No app installation, no account setup, and no confusing extra steps. Just open your browser, paste a supported public link, and download the files that are actually available.

Our Mission

To provide a simple but trustworthy tool that helps people save public social content responsibly. That includes watermark-free downloads when the source allows it, plus clear support for video, audio, photos, and carousels where those formats are genuinely available.

Who Maintains TikGo

  • TikGo Team maintains the public downloader and trust surface.
  • TikGo Editorial Team reviews product, support, and help content for clarity and accuracy.
  • TikGo Technical Review checks platform coverage, workflow limits, and supported-link guidance before sensitive trust updates are finalized.

This role-based model keeps public content accountable without requiring named personal bylines in the current phase.

What We Do

  • Help you save public TikTok and Douyin videos, including watermark-free versions when a clean source stream is available.
  • Support public Facebook videos, Instagram reels/photos/carousels, and X/Twitter video posts through dedicated downloader pages.
  • Show audio, image, or carousel download options only when the original post and source actually provide them.
  • Keep the download flow browser-based and direct, with clear explanations when a format, quality, or post type is not supported.

Why Choose TikGo

  • Fast and straightforward: a clean interface and a simple paste-link-to-download workflow.
  • Browser-first: no app install, no registration, and no forced login.
  • Honest about capability: no fake upscaling, no invented quality labels, and no unsupported private-content promises.
  • Multi-platform without guesswork: each downloader page explains what link types and media options are truly supported.
  • Built for trust: privacy, rate limits, safety measures, and policies are explained in plain language.

How TikGo Works (Summary)

You paste a supported public URL → we create a secure session (CSRF + short-lived ticket) → the system checks available metadata and download options for that platform (without storing downloaded media) → you choose a file or quality → the file is downloaded directly to your device.

Security and Data

We respect user privacy and design TikGo with a minimum data principle:

  • We do not keep downloaded media as a permanent library.
  • Your IP address is recorded at the minimum necessary level to apply rate-limiting, detect spam/DDoS, and keep the service secure; anonymous technical logs (error codes, file size, region) are stored for up to 7 days before being deleted.
  • Stability control: to ensure smooth performance for everyone, we may temporarily hide the original download option for files larger than 200 MB during high traffic periods. The 200 MB limit may change as needed.

Core Values

  • User-first: we listen to feedback and continuously improve the experience.
  • Privacy-by-design: collect only what is essential for safe operation.
  • Transparency: clearly describe how the system works, its limitations, and our policies.

Responsibility and Copyright

We respect copyright and encourage users to use TikGo responsibly:

  • Only download content that you own or have permission to use.
  • Only public posts are supported; private, deleted, or permission-restricted content is outside our scope.
  • When saving or sharing media, respect the privacy of creators and the people featured in the content.
  • TikGo operates independently, is not affiliated with TikTok, Douyin, Facebook, Instagram, or X, and is not responsible for any misuse or violation of third-party rights.
